Students cast their votes in a mock election to practice the electoral process. Among the candidates on the ballot were Pollie Tician and Carlos Hernandez, fictional "Perfect President" candidates created by AP Government students Meagan Petersen and Brendan Sidzyik. More than 940 ballots had been submitted in the library by mid-afternoon Tuesday.

Hi all and thank you for the read! I’m V, a student journalist here at PLSHS and this is my second year on staff. As a journalist I believe we have the responsibility of doing what we can to educate and cover relevant issues and events. Outside of school I enjoy the outdoors, scrapbooking, hanging with friends and spending time with my pets. I love animals and all things nature and am a self proclaimed tree hugger.
