MUST HAVE: THE EVERYGIRL 2025-2026 Planner
REASON TO LOVE: I use my planner daily to keep track of my homework, work schedule, and reminders. I also keep track of my plans for the month. My planner is definitely a must-have because without it my life would be so disconjointed and unorganized. If my planner went missing I’d probably forget about one of my shifts at work, or my grades would suffer due to not remembering my assignments.
PURCHASE: My planner costs $13.99 at Target. My mom bought my planner for me at Target when we were buying school supplies for back-to-school. I’m guessing you could probably find this planner at any office supplies or department store.
FUN FACT: I’ve been buying this same brand/type of planner for 3 years straight, and it truly makes me more organized. If you want to take some stress off your plate, invest in one of these planners. You don’t realize how much time and worrying you spend on trying to remember the simple parts of your everyday life.

MUST HAVE: Any planner
REASON TO LOVE: It helps me stay organized and keep my assignments together. [Without this,] I would be a disorganized mess and have many missing assignments
PURCHASE: around $15. TJ Maxx, you could probably find it on Amazon or Target.
FUN FACT: It helps me complete all my homework assignments and stay organized!!

MUST HAVE: My iPad
REASON TO LOVE: I like drawing and it’s really good for taking notes. [Without this,] I would be very sad because I’m just like those sticky iPad toddlers.
PURCHASE: Like $300 i think. It was a birthday present.
FUN FACT: I put fun stickers on the case.
—
MUST HAVE: My sharpie s Gel pen.
REASON TO LOVE: I hate using pencils for anything other than math and the pen. [Without these,] I probably wouldn’t take notes in half my classes
PURCHASE: $6 for 4 pack. I get all of mine off of Amazon but I’m sure you could find them at Target.
FUN FACT: The lines are incredibly consistent and bold and the pen is heavy which is very nice for somebody who likes to flip their pens while they write.

Alexis Bell
MUST HAVE: BIC mechanical pencil
REASON TO LOVE: It is a very good pencil. I would be mad if it went missing.
PURCHASE: A pack of 26 is 5 dollars at Target. I bought a big pack on Amazon and you could find them at many different stores like Target or Walmart.
FUN FACT: It writes perfectly and I like how skinny it is, makes it easy to hold.

MUST HAVE: 5 subject notebook
REASON TO LOVE: I only ever need to carry one thing in my bag because it has a section for each class plus a double sided folder separating the sections PLUS a pencil holder on the cover. [Without this,] I would lose every paper and notes for all classes and I would be so sad because I get the same exact notebook in the same color every school year.
PURCHASE: anywhere from 12-22 dollars. Target, but you can get it at any office store or section within a store or amazon.
FUN FACT: The thing is indestructible, it keeps every single thing for every class organized right there, I don’t have to fumble for different notebooks or folders, and its so compact and sleek.

MUST HAVE: I have these erasable pens – they come in purple, blue, pink, green, and really dark blue.
REASON TO LOVE: I really like the color variety, and sometimes I prefer using pens over using pencils because of how they feel in my hand. Pens are a lot of commitment though – I have to write everything exactly right, or else I’ll have to scribble it out to try again. These pens are perfect because they’re still pens but erase decently well, so I don’t have to worry so hard about spelling mistakes or ugly looking letters. [Without this,] Life would be bleak. I’d have to resort to using regular pencils… Which is fine, but then I couldn’t section things off by color, because there’d be no color at all. My pages would look sad and grey, as opposed to bright pink or blue. I think I’d be really disappointed, and I’d keep checking my pencil case for them like they might appear out of nowhere.
PURCHASE: The exact ones I have are typically $8.79, but at the time of writing they’re on sale for $6.29. My mom got them for me at Target, but you could get various kinds of packs on places like Amazon and Walmart.
FUN FACT: The pens are so vibrant and colorful, they’re really good for annotating, or writing in general, or writing a lot of different things on one page but still wanting to differentiate them. They’re also super cheap, so it’s a nice investment, especially if you want to spice up your life.

MUST HAVE: Zebra Z-grip plus mechanical pencils
REASON TO LOVE: The quality of them is so high, that if you just buy them once and don’t lose them you can keep using them. I sometimes have to buy the eraser refills for the pencils for $2 dollars which are sold on Amazon. I’ve only had one break ever and that was the spring part in it, but I haven’t had any just break in half due to the poor quality. I also like how when you shake the pencil lead comes out and apparently it helps more with lead not breaking, but sometimes I just like to move it for the sound and it’s not an annoying clicking noise. [Without these,] I would not have a pencil that would be somewhat affordable and long lasting that I could use to write. I usually only buy the usual pack of three just for if they go missing or somebody takes one by accident, but I don’t typically have to buy pencils in the middle of the school year out of need. I wouldn’t want to use any other pencil unless I was forced to.
PURCHASE: $5-$10 dollars for three or $25 dollars for 12. I’ve bought them from Walmart, Walgreens, or Amazon, sometimes I have to go on a search for them but those are the only places I’ve ever seen them sold. Sometimes it says they are sold other places online, but they are often not actually available.
FUN FACT: Even though they aren’t sold that many places, I find it fun to find all the colors. There are different colors and versions I’ve found and it’s unique because they aren’t sold that many places and I think they keep getting more and more unavailable at different stores because they are actually discontinued now. It makes something simple like a pencil a little more fun.
