KINSEY LATHROP
Activity Impact: “Being involved with the Student Council, Leo Club, and attending sporting/random events has had an immense impact on my high school career! ”
Freshmen Year: ” I would definitely break out of my shell a lot earlier, and get to know more people! ”
Senior Memory: “I will remember being taught by amazing teachers, and surrounded by amazing people who make me excited to come to school every day. ”
Future Plans: “Next year, I am going to study political science and Spanish at the University of Nebraska Lincoln! Beyond that, I hope to go to law school and become an attorney!”
10-year Reunion: “I hope to be a successful lawyer with at least one Survivor win under my belt.”

AIDEN WITTED
Activity Impact: “Football and Hope Squad”
Freshmen Year: ” Talk with more people and create more relationships with people. ”
Senior Memory: “All of the memories made throughout high school and senior year specifically. ”
Future Plans: “Go to UNK and study sports communications and play football.”
10-year Reunion: “Hopefully around a football field somehow. Whether that’s coaching, playing, or announcing.”

BREYLEE BOTTS
Activity Impact: “Track and Field. The program that has been created at Papio South is something special. The coaches are out of this world and I have learned so much about myself outside of athletics through this sport. I have made lifelong connections and really found my passion. I am so proud to be a part of this program. I get the opportunity to represent my school and run with my head high knowing I have the support of my teammates, my coaches, and my teachers. ”
Freshmen Year: ” I would have branched out more. I only had a couple of friends coming into high school and I really didn’t try to meet new people. I lost out on some really cool connections and I wish I would’ve connected sooner.”
Senior Memory: ” My leadership class! I have learned some of the most important parts about being a part of a team and what it takes to truly be a leader of that team. These are lessons that apply to every part of my life and will stick with me way beyond high school. Coach H and Coach Cooley are some of the most intentional teachers and I recommend this class to every Junior and Senior.”
Future Plans: “I am attending Wayne State College to major in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Social Sciences. I hope to become a High School history teacher! I will also be a part of their Track and Field team. ”
10-year Reunion: “I hope I am teaching right back here at Papio South and Coaching hurdles for the Lady Track and Field team. This school has poured into me and I want to give back in the same way. I hope to have a family as that is one of my biggest dreams! Hopefully happy and healthy with lots of new knowledge!”

GRACE BAUM
Activity Impact: ” Cross Country, Track and field, and Student Council”
Freshmen Year: “Overall, there isn’t much that I would change. If I had to do it again, maybe I would try to enjoy the present moment more instead of focusing so much on the future.”
Senior Memory: “I have lots of good memories from cross country and track practices and meets. I will remember spending time with my teammates on long runs and at bonding events. I will also remember competing at races and how much fun I had and how proud I was of all the work I put in. ”
Future Plans: “My plan is to attend Wesleyan University in Connecticut. I will run on the cross country and track team there and currently I am planning to major in molecular biology and biochemistry.”
10-year Reunion: “I hope to have earned a PhD and found a job that enjoy. I also hope that I will have published a novel by then. ”

MIA COOLEY
Activity Impact: ” Basketball and Cross Country because I have met some of my best friends on these teams.”
Freshmen Year: “I would definitely talk to more people, and not be scared to share my opinion in front of others in the classroom.”
Senior Memory: “I think I’ll just remember how many more people I got to talk to and hang out with. It’s different than your other three years because so many more people are willing to open up, and everyone seems so much less judgmental. So I will definitely remember all the new friendships I was able to create. “
Future Plans: “I am planning to go to UNL to major in elementary education. I would also like to minor in Special Ed. “
10-year Reunion: “I am hoping to be teaching a kindergarten class in OPS, and starting up a photography business with my free time. “

LOGHAN LAWSON
Activity Impact: “The activities that impacted me the greatest have been the fine arts. Whether it was Theatre, Play Pro, or Show Choir, each activity made my high school experience the best. I made so many friends and memories that I will keep for the rest of my life. The groups I was in, Titanium and Play Production have had the greatest impact on me and just made my whole experience wonderful.”
Freshmen Year: “I would try and be a better person. I would try to leave no regrets, keep the friends I lost and just go through school with no worries.”
Senior Memory: “What I will remember the most about my senior year is how eventful is was. I got to travel with show choir, I got to go to state one act, and put on so many different shows with our theatre program. Specifically the memories I made in our theatre department I will keep very close to me.”
Future Plans: “I plan to study Software Engineering at the University of Nebraska Lincoln for the next four years. After that I want to try and move to Boston, Massachusetts.”
10-year Reunion: “I want to be a successful Software Engineer with a good job and have traveled the world. I want to go all over the world and try so many things.”

JACK O’NEILL
Activity Impact: “For me baseball had a great impact, it taught me how to overcome adversity and instilled a competitive spirit in me. DECA helped me develop problem solving skills and confidence and Circle of friends was a great time getting to meet people new people while helping them develop social skills.”
Freshmen Year: “If I could go back to freshman year I don’t think I would change anything. I’ve a had a great high school experience and can’t think of anything I’d change. “
Senior Memory: “I will remember most the friendships and people that were there for me during high school. “
Future Plans: “For the next few years I plan to go to college and study biology on a Pre-med track. “
10-year Reunion: “In 10 years I hope to be in my second year of my anesthesiology residency and on track to become an anesthesiologist. “

NYABOL DOL

Senior Memory: “I will always remember going to the school football games my senior year because it’s how I became friends with my sigmas.”
Future Plans: “I plan on attending University of Nebraska-Lincoln with an undecided major though I am interested in studying Psychology and English Literature.”
10-year Reunion: “Hopefully I will feel fulfilled by my career and have traveled to many countries.”

MATT VALENTA
Activity Impact: ” Track and Field, Cross Country, Marching Band, Jazz band, and Show Band”
Freshmen Year: “During my freshman year, I was heavily involved and not used to high school life yet. Because of this, I was very stressed. If I could go back to my freshman year, I would worry less about the future and focus on what I am able to do in the moment. “
Senior Memory: “The thing I will remember most about my senior year will be the perspective I have gained while participating in my activities for the last time. This year, I learned to live in the moment, and to take full advantage of the opportunities I am given. “
Future Plans: “Over the next few years, I plan to pursue a degree in Physics Engineering and possibly running track at the University of Kansas. I also plan on participating in DCI this summer for the Blue Stars. “
10-year Reunion: “In ten years, I want to have a career in the developmental science and engineering field, and I would like to have future plans for a family. “
