At the Elkhorn South Crystal Cup, on Feb. 15, all three show choirs made finals: Titanium, Radiance and Titan Express – a first in school history and a rare occurrece for any choir program.
According to director Brian Johnson: “While Titanium is accustomed to performing in Finals, it was a new opportunity for the other two ensembles…. Titan Express started the Finals competition and lit the stage on fire, earning a 5th Place finish! Radiance took the torch and followed the lead of TiEx and earned 3rd Place overall, with senior Caitlyn Grove earning an Outstanding Performer award. Titanium … won Grand Champion, sweeping the awards for Best Choreography and Best Vocals. And Platinum…WOW. Not only did they earn the Best Band award, but they performed all six shows with absolutely amazing energy and stamina.”
