Papio South students and families will have various opportunities to broaden their perspectives by enrolling in one of the global travel trips.
The global immersion experience also proves effective for students’ futures.
“There’s a lot of research that says students that do [an abroad trip] tend to do better in life. … I think it’s important, it builds that skill of grit and resilience needed to bounce back,” Dr Mike Musil, leader of the annual Europe trip said.
The 2026 summer Europe trip will be visiting Switzerland, Italy, and the French Riviera. As of Jan. 24, there are 9 spots remaining before students will be waitlisted.
Other 2026 global trips will include a trip to Northern Spain and France. In 2027, there will be a trip to Italy.
For all the trips, students would be on a wait list until enough signed up for a 2nd bus, or until someone on the trip drops out.
While the latest deadline to apply for the 2026 trips are not until early next year, it is best to sign up as soon as you can. Not only will this give you more time to prepare but it will make the monthly payments significantly smaller than if you waited until a few months before departure.
